NON-PROFIT CORPORATION

Sistrunk Historical Festival is a non-profit corporation, recognized as a 501(c)(3) organized by the IRS. Its goal is to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of African descendants.

VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME

Volunteers are the lifeblood of this organization. Volunteers provide assistance in producing our annual events such as the Parade, Street Festival, Gala & Fundraiser, concert series, and other programs that may be developed throughout the year.

Volunteers come in many forms; serving as hosts/hostesses at the Gala, staffing the Kidz Zone at the Street Festival, serving as a Phase Coordinator at the Parade, coordinating the artwork display with the Library, drafting articles for the quarterly Newsletter, etc. Contact us at (954) 687-3472, or by e-mail at info@sistrunkfestival.org to volunteer your services.

MEMBERSHIP

Sistrunk welcomes students and adults to become General Members. The direct benefit of your membership is that you receive recognition as a Sistrunk supporter. Additionally, you will receive a membership card, a Commemorative Journal, a baseball cap, and a subscription to the quarterly Newsletter.
